1. General description of Centrifugal Spray Dryer
The yeast Spray Dryer is suitable for processing solutions, suspensions, or slurry-form materials. The material liquid is thrown into droplets by centrifugal force or pressure and then dispersed in the hot air. The droplets and the hot air contact each other. the moisture will be evaporated quickly to achieve the purpose of drying. Unit operations such as concentration, filtration, and crushing can be omitted, and powder and granular products of 60~500um can be obtained. The drying time is very short, generally 5~30s. It is suitable for the drying of highly heat-sensitive materials and materials that are easily dispersed in the process of liquid concentration.
The solution, emulsion, suspension liquid or slurry are sprayed into fine beads in the hot air, going down from the top of the drying chamber to the bottom, the water will be evaporated to and the product becomes powder or granular product.
Induce hot air from the top of drying tower, at the same time, pump the material liquid to the top of the tower by screw pump or peristaltic pump, the feeding solution becomes into fine beads or small droplets through the atomizer. When the droplets meet the high temperature hot air, the water will be evaporated immediately, and the material liquid is dried into dry product in a very short time, the product is discharged from the bottom of the drying tower, or from the cyclone (depend on the configuration). When the hot air contacts with the droplets, the temperature declines significantly, and the humidity increases greatly, and then will be exhausted by exhaust fan. The fine powder in the air will be collected through different separating devices
There're different fine powder separation and recovery devices, such as cyclone (the common type and various combination type), bag filter, cyclone + bag filter, cyclone + wet scrubber, and bag filter + wet scrubber etc. We should different fine powder separation and recovery devices as per the characteristics of product and requirements of customer.
Depend on the product features and requirements, we might install secondary drying and cooling system (such as ZLG vibration fluid bed or pneumatic transportation), formulation system or powder sieving system etc after the spray dryer, or dehumidifier.

2. Features of Centrifugal spray dryer
1. Fast drying speed; greatly increasing the surface area of the material after the liquid is atomized; it can instantly evaporate 95% -98% of water in the stream of hot air; it takes only a few seconds to complete drying, which is especially suitable for drying heat sensitive materials.
2. Our products have a good uniformity, mobility and solubility, high purity and good quality.
3. Simplified production process, easy to operate and control. Liquid of 40-60% moisture content (up to 90% for special materials) can be dried into powder products at a time, without crushing and screening after drying, which reduces production process and improve product purity. The size, bulk density, moisture can be adjusted within a certain range by changing operation conditions. It is convenient to do control and management.

Chemical industry: sodium fluoride (potassium), alkaline dyestuff and pigment, dyestuff intermediate, compound fertilizer, formaldehyde silicic acid, catalyst, sulphuric acid agent, amino acid, white carbon black, etc.
Plastic resin: AB, ABS latex, urea resin, phenolic resin, dense glue (urea) formaldehyde resins, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, etc.
Food industry: fat-rich milk powder, lancet protein, cocoa milk powder, babymeal, hunting blood meal, egg white (yellow), etc.
Food and plants: spirulina, fruit juice, yeast, plant extraxts, oats, chicken juice, coffee, instant tea, seasoning meat, protein, soybean, peanut protein, hydrolyzate and so on.
Sugar: stevia, corn syrup, corn starch, glucose, pectin, malt sugar, potassium sorbate, etc.
